Christmastime in NYC

I'm very late in sharing these photos, but better late than never.

These were shot on my first winter visit to New York City. Three days after I flew home, a blizzard hit.

One of the things I love about walking in a city is discovering its street art. In San Francisco art can be found everywhere. You can turn a corner and come upon a large, colorful mural or look down and discovery a tiny sticker in someone's doorway.

Art on the street enhances the character of a city and says something about the people who live there. What does your city say about you?

I love the stove top pipe in the first photo. It looks like it's coming out of the mural itself. A few more shots of San Francisco's street art are coming up.

The Accordion Player #3

San Francisco, CA - February 2011 - Nikon FE - Agfa Pro 200N

This is the third in a series of accordion player I've randomly seen on the street. Every time I ask for a photo, they ask if I would like them to play. The answer is always yes.

Previously, The Accordion Player and The Accordion Player #2.
